Hello,

I took this photo 11-10-2023 in Lake County, Florida. I think it is a Common Grackle but it seems to have more colors than the bird Identification books I have. I welcome your opinion.

Grackle's feather colours are, at least partly, iridescent (structural rather then just pigment) so can appear different in differing light directions.

This looks very like Sibley's illustration of an adult male Common Grackle from Florida.

Tis a Common Grackle, male. The only confusion species in FL would be Brown-headed Cowbird and Boat-tailed Grackle and they really don't look like this.

BHC is much dumpier, short-billed, brown-headed and much smaller (sometimes hard to judge, but they are very different in size), BTG is more uniformly blue-green, longer-billed, dark-eyed in central FL and much bigger. Photos - one taken in Osceola Co, one in Pinellas.
