Agadir, Self catering (1 Viewer)

Anybody here done it?

We're thinking of going there in late October and as I'm currently in dispute with Thomson I'm not inclined to have anything to do with them, Thomas Cook don't fly there after early October, so my wife's fancying self catering in an apartment.

We normally go self catering when we go on our frequent trips to Spain, but Morocco's a different set-up and I'm wondering if it's worth the candle.

Any info will be welcome.

Hi BW
i have no idea about actual places to stay, but supermarkets, restaurants etc are in abundance in Agadir, as well as the local markets so the actual 'catering' bit will be fine. Agadir is also full of European holiday homes, im just not sure where you find out about them?
Good luck

Hi Barred Wobbler,

I went there with a mate earlier this year. He found a good b&b deal on a room in a 4* hotel; I think he used one of the late booking sites like laterooms.com or lastminute.com. I think you're going out of season, so you could leave booking your accommodation until a few weeks before you go. We stayed in Le Tivoli. There are plenty of birds to be seen in any of the hotel grounds; I also saw a nice male Lesser Kestrel fly over the pool.

Enjoy!
