How much!
I think most people probably agree that the earth is going through a climate change called global warming, as it has done so for millions of years in the past, whether man alone is responsible is debatable.

Today I was working in the garden and as always you can't fail to see the contrails of high flying aircraft, which we are told contribute to global warming. So I decided to do a daft exercise, I photographed all the aircraft I could see from my back garden in a 1 hour time period. (It got me out of gardening) I then made the attached composite photograph. There are 21 aircraft, I missed 2 light planes, I could hear them but couldn't see them, I also missed 3 high flying jets which were low on the horizon and skipping between the clouds, I just couldn't get them

But the icing on the cake was the Sparrowhawk which was the last thing I photographed before the hour was up.

Great photo (s) Dave, reminds me of the 14 flights I will be doing over the next two weeks while in China as well as the birding I'll be doing while there!

Cheers
Nick
