Any ideas what species this is? (1 Viewer)

This photograph was taken today (June 13th) on top of limestone cliffs in Southern Cumbria. The beach was to one side and about 100 yards inland was some mature woodland. (I'm not too hot on trees either, so I couldn't say what they were).

Can anyone identify it for me please?

I agree with Mícheál, this seems to be a Meadow Pipit. I'm not sure if I can say why, though, as I could get criticised for complicating matters....
