Baiting Kingfishers (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I read a post here a few days ago which mentioned using bait to attract fish which in turn attracts kingfishers. I have a hide in place within the territory of a kingfisher and a perch has been strategically placed.

What I need now is advice on which bait to use, how to prepare it (if needed) and an indication of how long it will last. The final point being important as I cant get to the hide everyday.

Thanks
Jason

Generally kingfishers will check out any perch that you set up just because its there but any fishing tackle shop will sell you groundbait and the smaller fish that kingfishers like are never fussy about what they eat
