Remote Broads pub could finally be turned into houses

One of the most remote pubs in Norfolk could be set to be converted into a quartet of townhouses in the latest twist of a long-running saga.

I‘ve been reading the article about a possible development with housing with the Berney Arms Pub close by the remote RSPB reserve Berney Marshes. Does anyone have any detail about this and where do the RSPB stand on this? I also believe the Norfolk Wildlife Trust have a reserve close by as well. I’ve never visited Berney Marshes myself.
