Good afternoon Everyone,
I took a skiing tumble and damaged the left eye piece /lens of my bins.
The left eyepiece housing on the main housing cracked and the eyepiece element can be unscrewed.

A ring on the eyepiece is split. This ring rotates through approx 150 degrees and doesn't seem to do anything. Could it just be a locking ring to stop the eyepiece unscrewing from the main body??

I reckon I can repair it with jubilee clips as clamps and super glue.
The right side with the dioptre adjust is fine.
I'm not back in UK for a while.
I look forward to some ideas?

Hi there - I spoke to our service department and from the looks of your photos they think that the body has cracked as well and that would make them uneconomical to repair.

Sorry for the bad news in terms of a full fix but I suspect your clamp and glue fix will get you by.

Cheers, Pete
