Hello. I've recently gotten into bird photography. Today, I snapped a photo of a bird, and I can't figure out what kind of bird it is. I photographed it today at a park in Loganville, GA which is in metro-Atlanta. It was probably 6" tall or so. In the same area, I also saw a cardinal, pine warbler, and thrasher. Any idea what this is?

Thanks for any help.

Judging from frequency of photos, northern cardinal does seem quite often subject to near-catastrophic feather-loss - I think usually around regular post-breeding moult time (ie now).
