Hi,

attached you will find 1 images of a bird in the early morning. I think I remember, they say it is a Snowy-browed Flycatcher. But the posture and the grey belly irritate me?

ID-help is highly appreaciated

Certainly not a tesia. Flycatcher Sp. Wondering if the lighting might be a bit weird and it's something like White-browed (or a different Sp of) Jungle Flycatcher?

Agree with Larry, surely an Eyebrowed Jungle Flycatcher (aka Bornean Shade-dweller), lighting creating anomalies.

That's odd because they're not uncommon at Kinabalu

Yep, what Larry and Grahame said. I will add that in my two days there we only saw one, so could be that your guide and the rest of the group missed it.
