Hi there! I saw olive-backed sunbird in the nest with its head popped up. I can go close and even touch the nest if I want but I do not do it. I am only see from a distant of about 20 feet. Can take photograph of it and post it to BF?
What is the distance permited?
Tq.

Photos of such closely taken nest shots aren't permitted in the Gallery at all. The rule is there for the protection of all birds - whether apparently disturbed by someones presence or not.

Whilst such photos are permitted on the Fourms in certain circumstances, say to illustrate a particular point - it's still something we don't encourage. A shot from 20' would be the absolute minimum.

Thank you very much IanF.
I am clear about it.
Tq again.
