Today, big woods around. We thought this one was flying higher than a common buzzard. The guy that spotted the bird said European Honey-buzzard, but I am not 100% sure since I have no idea how that looks like. Any raptor specialist might help...? Tnx in advance...DSC09987 copy.JPG

Agree, Common Buzzard, at shorter distances you can see the tail banding. Honey Buzzards have two or three bands and a broad dark terminal band. Common Buzzards have many fine bands. There are many other characteristics but this one is easy
