I only just found this BTO talk recorded in Dec 2020. Some of the equipment remarks may be out of date by now. He mentions AudioMoth but they seem to have supply problems first half of 2023 anyway.
He also mentions a BTO project where you could upload sound recordings to be analysed against a NN he had built but so far (two years on) it doesn't seem to have progressed to birds, just bats and other non-bird stuff.
