car surfing raven video (1 Viewer)

In my search of info on soaring, I happend upon a video link that shows a raven surfing on the wave of a moving SUV- quite amazing. I assume a learned (if darwinian!) behavior. Pat
Pretty amazing. It looked like they ran over it a couple of times when it dipped down low. lol

Surfing fun, and a meal! Interesting that the raven stayed close by when they stopped; had it been fed before? (Possibly sooner?)

It's not just a free ride; for an idea of all the variation the raven is exploring as it keeps moving around the Jeep (which will have a lot of drag right at the front, where it keeps disappearing), see the first few minutes of this video: Front-end airflow and car aerodynamic drag
