Carolina wren help needed! (1 Viewer)

Good afternoon!
I live in coastal South Carolina very close to the North Carolina state line. My neighborhood is very wooded, abuts a marsh, and gets very little traffic. I have a hedge line of maybe 5 or 6 euonymus bushes that need to be removed, but I think there may be wrens in there. When would be the best time to remove the plants with the least amount of impact to the wrens? Thank you!!
Connie

Hi Connie and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. Carolina Wrens breed between March and October I believe, so you need to leave your hedge intact until later in the fall, and complete it before March.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing about the birds you see around you.

Thank you! My first Winter project!!
