Common Whitethroat…icterops? (1 Viewer)

Came across this bird today on Paphos headland.
First glance of the head as it emerged from the tangle had me thinking Lesser Whitethroat.
But as the body appeared showing pale legs and rufous upperparts I thought possible Icterops might be more likely, especially with such a cold grey head and mantle (never seen a CW in the UK looking anything like this?)

Can only speak as I find, have not seen a CW with such a grey head and mantle as this before…..
