Coryphilus goupilii Pucheran, 1853 OD here and plate

The Key to Scientific Names
Ernest-Auguste Goupil (1814-1840) French draftsman, artist, on Dumont d’Urville’s expedition (syn. Vini ultramarina).

There is an article on him Ernest Auguste Goupil a young man and his art

From this account, penned with great affection, we learn that Goupil was born in 1814 at Chateaudun, in the Loire Valley.
Goupil died during the night of 31 December 1839, in the presence of his friend M. Honoré Jacquinot, assistant surgeon of the Zélée.
In Hobart on 4 January 1840, at the instigation of the Lieutenant-Governor, Goupil was accorded a military funeral, with honours befitting his rank.

This leads us to his birth here p. 42 of 212 Cote 3 E 088/052 b. 10. April 1814 (at least found no hier).

So it seems not completely correct hat's written here
GOUPIL , Ernest - Auguste ( 1814-1840 ) .

Some sources say died 1. January 1840 in Hobart (might be difficult to say 1839 or 1840).

P.S. There is as well a Lima (Ctenoides) goupilii POTIEZ & MICHAUD, 1844. here and plate LII fig 6
