Dowitcher ID - Hawaii winter (1 Viewer)

Hawaii gets a few vagrant Dowitchers every winter. Most of them are Long-billed. The breast on this bird looks more spotted than what I typically see. Is this a Short-billed Dowitcher? Thanks.

Nice photo.
I am seeing a Short-billed dowitcher here: slim body with flat back (Long-billed looks more like a rugby ball!), rather pale breast with spotted pattern, contrasting barring on flank against a neat, white background, just thin dark shaft streaks on scapulars (LB has triangular dark centres), whitish fringes on wing coverts, and strong mustard colour on bill base.
