Duck in Massachusetts, USA (1 Viewer)

I saw this duck with a white chest in a large flock of mallards near Boston, MA this weekend and have not been able to figure out what he is! The most likely thing I've turned up is that maybe he is/was domestic or has a domestic ancestor, but are there any other possibilities?

Definitely a so called 'manky' mallard (domestic mallard)
If you're lucky someone might be able to go into more detail on parentage

As Valery often rightly says on these threads, the parentage is Mallard x Mallard. In as far as domestic variants go, It may have some "Call Duck" in it given the small compact structure
