Deb Burhinus
Used to be well known! 😎

Hope this is Ok to post links to two separate images.
1. This is a great shot technically but it is the bird itself that caught my eye - no wonder the Japanese loved to paint herons - the sweeping curves and aesthetically pleasing shape of herons with their elegant postures lends itself to Art - Gerry has captured this magnificently imo
And in complete contrast
2. An excellent and colourful detailed shot of Crested Goshawk, an ancient apex predator of the forest - a great addition to the gallery from a world of potential confusion species of Asian accipiters.
