This is on face book. I’ve assumed the original photo is not edited (although not sure) but I only see two red kites here. Even my friend thinks one is a buzzard.

Yes, two Red Kites. A fully spread (even rounded) tail is rare but it happens.

You might have to just take my word for it, but this photo taken yesterday in difficult light, at too great a range for comfort, is of a red kite having a go at a local male marsh harrier from above.
