Hello all !
For keep memories and verify ID, i've bought a Nikon Coolpix P500 and beggin to use it and it's my first experience in photograpy. An my first experience too in photo editing.
(For this i use darktable as total beginner, seems really good tool !)
For the P500, my settings are :
A mode
f number 6.5
AF-C. Continuous Auto Focus
ISO 200
Image quality: jpeg fine
Image size largest
Picture control: standard
Noise reduction: disactivated
Active dynamic lighting: normal;
I use a tripod, mainly
Theses pics were taken during a sunny day and most of them with the max or sub-max optical zoom.
For ID and "fun" the result is ok but i wonder if (how) i can do better. I realize that it's better when zoom is lower...but bird are further away ^^
The worst pics (at my begginer's eye) iss the Corn bunting for the post-treatment but i'm sure i can do better, my "request" for advices is for the "shooting".
And for this, the worst is the linnet but it just landed and then flew away so i have juste one quick image.
Thanks for reading and opinion
PS : i know that for good pic, a better machine and a reflex are the good way, but for now, i prefer beggin whith this cheap camera to understand and learn.
