First scope and Rother Valley Optics! (1 Viewer)

Hello!
Recently, I posted here, my thoughts about the possibility of obtaining my first scope.

I have been searching diligently, and, though I have been unable to obtain my "first choice" of a Celstron C90 mak, I have just purchased from Rother Valley Optics, in Killamarsh, Derbyshire, the Hawke Endurance 23-70x70 scope.

First impressions are positive, and I hope to try digiscoping with it shortly.

I know it's not ED glass, but with a strict budget of £200, I thought it the best buy for the price.

I would like to put in a good word, if I may, for Rother valley Optics, from where I purchased the Hawke.

Very, very helpful, and also, I must say, very well informed on the subject of scopes.

On one occasion, I spent about an hour in their shop trying out different scopes, and the young chap who served me was very knowledgeable and very patient with me!
I cannot praise them enough!
Well done RVO

Now, I just have to get stuck in a try and match up my super-zoom cam-corder and the Hawke!

Wish me luck!!

God bless,
Mick

My other interest is astro-photography, they also deal with astronomical telescopes and accessories, I've done mail order with Rother Valley Optics, I concur they're very good and helpful.
