yes I agree with you about the massive bill, but still a Caspian Gull imo. Upperparts are too pale for a Great black backed Gull.
Very white overall impression with dark 'albatross-mascara' eye-liner stripe is good for Caspian and YLG.
Underwing is too uniform white and unpatterned for an immature YLG, but yes thanks Lou again!
Very grey mantle and tertial pattern, and white mirror on p10 (but no adult like primary) makes this a 2cy bird imo.
But as always you know...
agree on 2cy Caspian Gull. Males can have enormous bills. Note mirror in 2nd generation p10. Careful @Alexander Stöhr , 2nd cycle YLG can be very white on underwings, too.
