Greenfinch love eating this plant (?) (1 Viewer)

See first photo, some kind of ground covering geranium I think, our greenfinch plus fledgling love the seeds it would seem, tempting them within a few feet of the window. Flower about 1cm in diameter.
What is the plant?

All our smaller garden birds seem to love this little area, including wren, often seen climbing the acer which we planted there last spring, pecking away.
Guessing the Leylandi provides cover, and there are lots of insects.

Second photo is view from inside the house, third from outside.
The large container seen through the right windowpane is planted with tall feverfew, a daisy family herb.

Interesting , I thought all finches were have a specific diet of fruit , seeds and insects.
With the exception of Vampire finch who is bloody liquidarian...But I guess there are some insects who eat plants.
