Hi hope everyone is well and staying safe.

I had such a fantastic day at Ham Wall and Shapwick Heath last Sunday with my Wife. And it was so nice to meet so many friendly people on both reserves.

Our spots were.

(Ham Wall)

Marsh Harriers Female and Male and as many as 5 near the Avalon Hide all at one time. I have never seen this many all flying together over the reed beds it was so amazing.

Buzzard
Sparrowhawk
Gadwall
Pintail
Widgeon
Teal
Common Snipe
Cormorant
Great Crested Grebe
Little Grebe
2 x Glossy Ibis
Great White Egret
Little Egret
Mute Swan
Coot
Moor Hen
Cettis
Robin
Blue tit
Great tit
Also heard Bittern Booming and Water Rail calling.



(Shapwick Heath)

A 1st for me and my wife a stunning American Widgeon he was beautiful.

Male and Female Bullfinch
Marsh Harrier
Little Egret
Widgeon
Teal
Pintail
Gadwall
Grey Heron's
Mute Swan
Coot

I have attached a photo of the American Widgeon hope it's ok 👍
