Have you seen any Carolina Wrens recently in SW PA? (1 Viewer)

Hello all, just worried about our local Carolina Wrens here just east of Pittsburgh. I know they are not very tolerant of the cold and I am worried this last cold snap did them in. How about you? Have you seen any recently? How far are you from Pittsburgh?

I’ve been seeing/hearing them pretty consistently (Churchill Valley Greenway, Wingfield Pines, North Park, Westmoreland County… interestingly, no sightings in Frick on my list). I hadn’t realized they were so vulnerable to the cold. Happy that they seem to be doing OK.

Can't speak to the Pittsburgh area, but they are back in NYC Central Park, after a several month absence.
Several yesterday, including a pair that was interacting.
