Hello from warm, sunny Fife in Scotland,

Just getting back into birding after many years and a change of country. I'm looking to explore the whole region and further afield. Get in touch if you want company on a birding trip in the area!

Right now I have a front seat view of a 20 or so Jackdaws nesting in an abandoned cottage behind me. They're figured out who I am and that I'm a sucker for shiny gifts and I'll feed them worms, etc. I know Jackdaws are common, but every bird is fascinating once you get the rare chance to watch them in detail.

Hasta pronto,

Chris

Hi Chris and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. Jackdaws are very clever... I've had to triple-tie my feeders to stop them undoing the knots and throwing them to the ground!!! Devils!! They are good to watch though, aren't they LOL

All things Scottish can be found here. Also, keep an eye on threads titled something like Scottish Bashes; we try to meet up occasionally and they're always great fun. You'd be most welcome to join us on another if you can manage.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.
