I live in Eugene, Oregon, which is on the west coast of the U.S., north of California. My spark bird is the Lilac-breasted Roller, which I saw in Tanzania in 2019, but what really got me excited about birding was a trip to Belize in 2022, where we spent four days at a lodge and did two birding trips each day. I'm currently planning a trip to the Puerto Vallarta area in March and plan to do at least a few days of birding there. Any recommendations on places to go or guides would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Welcome to Birdforum. I hope you enjoy your visits.

That’s a beautiful photo. We have a Gallery where you can upload a maximum of three images in a 24 hour period. :)

Hi thepiranha and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. We don't appear to have a page for Puerto Vallarta in our Opus section as yet; so if you post in our Information Wanted forum there's bound to be someone who can help you, as there certainly some pictures in our Gallery taken by our members.

Rollers are stunning birds, aren't they.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
