Hi Rene,

I have a step-niece living in Sauve, so I've been there a few times. It is not an ideal spot for a keen birder but if you have transport then head uphill - through Ganges. The Cevennes is a fabulous place in it's own right - as a bonus it has Hazel Hen and Wallcreeper as breeding species. The latter are often to be found on rock walls bordering one spectacular route through the park - the road number of which I can't recall for the moment. Perhaps some-one else on this forum can help out.
