Can anyone help with ID of this moth seen today on garden buddleia in York, seen briefly while getting photos of a red admiral.

My thanks to Gnome & Tri Counties Birder. Having looked at Internet pictures ( I must get myself a moth ID book) - I am sure they are right and it is one of these 2 very similar species.
