Hi
These Cinclodes were seen at various spots on the way back to San Pedro de Atacama from El Tatio geyser field on 23 Jan. The first spot was at 4300m and the last spot at 4100m. Unfortunately all were taken at some distance in harsh summer light and I don't think there are enough diagnostic characters shown but I'm happy to take advice.
1) Pix 1,2 - At a small flowing stream 1 km from the geyser field. It carried a small unidentified prey item in its bill for 10 minutes while poking about the area.
2) Pix 3,4 - On a dry hill side near a small pool;
3) Pic 5 - At Rio Putana wetland at the edge of slow flowing water W of the road bridge.
Thanks and cheers, Tim
