hi guys. can anybody help identify this wader in the background please. it's not a great picture though , im afraid.
It was taken at musselburgh scrapes a couple of weeks ago, but only just getting round to sorting through my pictures.

Hello Colin,
both seems to be Common Redshanks imo. Its hard to find a reason, but jizz fits.
The hidden bird on the left is hard for me. Extremly white underparts, a quite uniform cream-whitish head and the horizontal stance seems good for a Ruff, but better wait for others and/or more pictures. but whats the bird in the foreground? A Ruff? Maybe.

Do you have more pictures?
