I was out checking out the birds and gators in my complex and this little one was in the grass along the bank of the pond by my house. Just not sure and I looked on the Florida Wildlife site.

Difficult to get a proper handle on either tail- or bill-size/shape, or colour of gloss... Given southern Florida + white iris, presumably common grackle (rather than boat-tailed grackle).

I was thinking that too but I am use to seeing the Great Tailed Grackles

Being in southern Florida, it will presumably be the Florida type, not the coastal/purple type.
