Ashy-crowned Sparrow Lark seems like a good bet

While on a Harbor Cruise out of Dingle Ireland I was looking for Gannets and then I saw these three birds. We motored part them rather fast and this is the only picture I was able to get. Merlin give wildly different identifications from a merganser to a black guillemot. I am still a novice birder so any help would be appreciated.
