Had a MALE MERLIN shoot past me while waiting for Dippers on River Rea around 3.20 today....Very bluey grey with a tiny white tip to tail and very pointed wings.

Also Dipper and Grey Wagtail

New to the forum. Hi all. Have we got dippers on the Rea? I regularly see grey wagtails and kingfisher. Would love to spot the dippers. Any tips or good places to wait patiently... I have bins and scope so would not disturb?

Hi. Wychall meadows. They can appear & disappear quite quickly.

Still got Dippers on the Rea .....had 2 at top end by the waterfall on 24th (Weds) but couldnt find any Thuds up to Midday...... ..1 reported later.

Kingfisher on Wychall reservoir. Same place I've seen one a couple times. A muddy brown River Rea.

In May I saw a Kingfisher on the River Rea in the Wychall res area.

Last weekend Kingfisher along the River Rea, Wychall. With the heavy rain heard a Kingfisher in Wychall Res.
