I sold mine last week for 930 pound. Telescope had been used for 16 17 years. I wasn't willing to wait to long before selling it. I saw another 883 being offered for 1353 pound. Don't know the exact age of it

Oh wow that's very cheap! I've found 2 online for £1700 & £1800 but i think those are unrealistic prices. Are they as good as they say?

I bought mine back in the day for 1600 pounds. There was some minor disturbance to the gear but I wasn't to sell it for the new price. Yes they are good. I just went for a 66a since I changed my approach. More breeding bird survey etc. and I am no longer willing to leave my scope behind. Camera, soundrecording stuff, camping stuff etc. But the scope still has to come!
