Can anyone ID these distant shots? I suspect the first few photos are either LBBG or YLG but unsure if the photos are Identifiable.

Any help appreciated.

my main intension is to bump your interesting thread up, so Lou and others can jump in. Thanks!

The first seems an adult Lesser black backed Gull: secondaries seems real blackish, but its difficult to be sure if this isnt an artefact. Or are the inner primaries too pale?

Your second bird might well be a 1cy Herring Gull. Yes, I can just detect an indication of a darkish YLG mask, but still looks better for a Herring Gull.

(Sadly fewer Yellow legged Gulls to study in the last weeks than last year....)
