lesser white-fronted goose ? (1 Viewer)

Seeing the small size , small beak, and the white reaching quite high above the forehead - I just wonder if it's not a lesser white-fronted goose. I know that you can't really see the eye ring - but the photos are of poor quality (however, in some of them you can see it a bit)
Or maybe the features I noticed are more of an illusion.
What do you think?

Hello Michal,

its a Greater White-fronted Goose imo:
  • yes bill is on the stubby end of variation for this species, but yet quite long and not that tiny triangular bill of many (?) Lesser WFG.
  • forehead is not steep enough for many Lesser WFG
  • I think the yellow eye-ring should be visible (?)
This comment came out more confident than it is intended to be and I am more than happy to be corrected (much more than normal!)

Here is a similar short billed one (Brandenburg/Havel, NE-Germany, 15.11.2020)

More stubby billed ones, and the right bird with the wrong blaze-shape for a Lesser WFG (Wusterwitz, NE-Germany, 08.03.2019, all Gänse Wusterwitz ST)
