Hey guys, gals and others. My grandson found the feather shown below in a local park in Brisbane QLD Australia. I was wondering if anyone can identify which bird it has come from.

Hello, it looks like a feather from a female Eastern koel.

Agree, shape and width of black bands fit perfectly

No Buteo buzzard has that fine barring and it is the wrong region.
