Mid Lothian Scotland - linnet maybe? (1 Viewer)

Needing help with this bird(s) I photographed today - bright cold sunny day.
Saw a flock of 20ish flying and making a high pitched "trilling" call - mixed woodland.
Six or so settled in the top of a larch tree and these are the (poor) photos I managed. I'm presuming they are linnets?

Thoughts?

I've added 3 more photos - they may be helpful. That's the lot.
