A walk today from Southease nearly all the way to Newhaven, highlight was a large flock, approximately 40, of Corn Buntings. Singing Skylark, displaying Meadow Pipit, though only saw two flights so not fully going for it yet! Greenfinch, Reed Bunting and Cetti's Warblers were also calling/singing and at least two Water Rails were heard squealing! A Common Sandpiper was also seen, but no Raptors and only one Heron ,usually several in the area, no Little Egrets either which is also unusual! More pics on the blog at the link!
