My new DIY feeder. (3 Viewers)

I want to take a photo of the birds feeding from the trough, but so far I have not been lucky to catch them at it. I have been too busy doing other things.

This morning, I saw the birds checking out the new feeder (empty). So I added seed, and waited at a distance, but their patience outdid mine. A had to go to an appointment. When I got back, all the seeds were gone. Drats! Foiled again.

Well, today I caught the crested pigeons comming to the new feeder. Apparently, I soon discovered a problem; the perching area is not wide enough.
Oh well, I will make some sort of alterations to fix this.

Added a strip of timber to the running board. It is also abot 2mm higher too; something more to grab with. I put a small amount of seed out to see if it makes a difference. It seems to be working much better.
