Neotropic vs double crested cormorant from Yucatan (1 Viewer)

Can anyone give me some hints for field marks concerning ID of cormorants? The following pictures were taken in Rio Lagartos, Yucatan in February. Hundreds of these birds.

I am coming to realize that there are only a few "unmistakable" birds out there, but at least that gives me something I can judge by.
 
I see the gular pouch as having rounded edges on this bird, so a second thing in the same direction. I believe someone said there was a few percent where the yellow lore would be misleading, and probably the same with the shape of the gular area.
