New garden bird feeder in London (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

Another London garden bird feeder here, using a free-standing four-piece feeding station which has been up for three months and protected with a squirrel baffle:

1. Peanuts (in wire-mesh tube)
2. Sunflower hearts (in small-port hopper)
3. Suet-with-mealworms block
4. Mixed suet pellets / seeds

Eight species attracted so far:

Goldfinch
Ring-necked parakeet
Blue tit
Great tit
Robin
House sparrow
Starling
Great spotted woodpecker

and other species on the ground (mixed food).

I have also tried:

Niger seeds - but the goldfinches barely touch them, preferring the sunflower hearts.

Mealworms - but the starlings eat them within hours.
