Not a warbler? metro-Boston MA US (1 Viewer)

At first I thought this bird had faint streaking on the sides and was a Pine Warbler, but looking at the pics I'm thinking it's a flycatcher of some sort. The other birds in the trees around it were Palm warblers and Yellow-rumped warblers.

It’s a (still) 1st Winter female Cape May Warbler by the looks of it.

They’re very similar, I was looking at the bill which seems to my eye slightly decurved and longer? also the “faintest” hint of olive to the rump…

Looks good for a Pine Warbler. The bill is too thick for Cape May, and it is exceptionally early for Cape May Warbler assuming the photo is recent.

Thanks, guys. And yes, it was last week when temps hit 90F. Unseasonably warm. And Pines have been reported on eBird for the hotspot recently though infrequently.
