- In his birth record as Johann Jacob Michael Kaup? See https://www.ancestry.co.uk/genealogy/records/caroline-natalie-rosalie-kaup-24-ly314f As well von Kaup as his fathers name as in Eponym Dictionary of Birds?
- Is T. T. Kaup really him? See v. 1-2 (1848-1849) - Contributions to ornithology for 1848-1853 - Biodiversity Heritage Library & v. 3-4 (1850-1851) - Contributions to ornithology for 1848-1853 - Biodiversity Heritage Library What was the name of his son https://www.zobodat.at/biografien/Kaup_Johann_Jakob_Kaupia_13_0003-0016.pdf with Elise Hauser? Two times wrong initials?
