Objective for bird photos (1 Viewer)

Hello together,

I have Nikon D300S and 70-200/ 5.6 Nikkor objective.
For bad light condition in morning in jungle is quite good but not for birds with distance.

I think about additional objective.
Maybe
200 - 500/ 5.6
or
180 - 600/ 5.6 - 6.3

First one is less zoom but 5.6 on 500.
But second one has 600 mm.

How is about this objectives with D500S and morning light and dayligt conditions ?
Is recommended newer DSLR for morning light conditions which is more light sensitive ?

Thank you very much.

Best regards
Dieter

Why not have a prime 500mm PF because a zoom is always at maximum anyway, plus a 6.3 will be quiet dark in the jungle.
