Hi all.

Can any one help me out with some information’s about Pine Bunting
This winter in Italy.
The area Macchia Lucchese in Tuscany, is that the spot to see them, the only observation I can find is 7 birds seen by Daniele Occhiato on the 28/11-2004

How about Red-billed Leiothrix in Tuscany, where is the best place to located them.

Hi
There are no recent records of Pine Bunting in Macchia Lucchese this year, at least so far. The species has however already been recorded in NE Italy (Pordenone Magredi see site no38 of my guide).
About Red-billed Leiothrix : the most reliable site is Gattaiola, close to Lucca.
Please contact me for further info.
