Pipits at Cupwith Res, West Yorkshire, UK (3 Viewers)

Hi all, had a VERY cold walk up by Cupwith Res this morning; lots of pipits around, I think these are all meadow pipits but could you confirm for me please? The differences are so subtle, and the light was constantly changing, I'm finding it difficult to be certain! Many thanks once again!

Hello Hettie,

yes these are all Meadow Pipits for me too.
Adding to your ID from the field (more reliable than pictures you know), all pinkish-orange legs and ID friendly flank streaking (yes, see the other threads here on BF) are good pointers against Rock/Water Pipit and Tree Pipit.
