Raptor - Haputale - Sri Lanka (1 Viewer)

Please help me to identify this bird. Photos were taken back in December 16th 2022 around 10 AM. Location - Thangamale sanctuary, Haputhale. Sorry about the quality of the images.

If it helps, Merlin suggested Oriental Honey-buzzard, Changeable Hawk-Eagle & Black Eagle. I did manage some flying shots of a Black Eagle at a different location in Haputale, during the same trip. Highly appreciate your help for a positive identification, even with the crappy photos.

Suggest the first of those. I can't see it being either of the other 2. Black eagle especially is very different

I agree. The broad sub-terminal band on the tail plus the small head surely fit OHB best
